Tony Laumberg holds a Bachelor of Laws from Sydney University and completed his Practical Legal Training course at the College of Law in Sydney. He was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and to the High Court of Australia in July 1980.
Tony practised in small city and suburban firms for many years gaining exposure in most areas of law before joining the national law firm Gadens Lawyers in its Commercial Litigation section advising and representing major corporate and government clients such as Westpac, David Jones, the Urban Transit Authority and the Civil Aviation Authority.
Tony has been the principal of A S Laumberg, Solicitor in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs for many years where he practises in various areas of law including:
Outside of work, Tony is a keen golfer and a member of the Woollahra Golf Club and the Royal Sydney Golf Club. He has also written and produced 13 plays, which have been performed both in Sydney and interstate and are mostly comedies about lawyers!
