Paddy Moylan graduated from the University of New England with a Law Degree and a Commerce Degree in 2001. Paddy then went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law in 2002 before being admitted to practice in 2002.

Experience

Paddy and his team operate in 4 distinct areas: Sports Law, Corporate Advisory, Family Law and Philanthropy Law.

Sports Law

We represent and advise sporting bodies, athletes and companies in all aspects of sports law. We advocate at tribunals, negotiate sponsorships and draft, negotiate and enforce contracts. We have worked with high profile athletes, large sporting bodies and international companies. We also enjoy working with athletes who are developing their careers and sporting organisations that are growing their base.

Paddy has significant involvement personally in the Sports industry as a cricket umpire and coach. He also Chairs a Cricket Zone and is a member of various tribunals and judiciaries.

Corporate advisory

Our team has significant experience in Corporate advisory work. Paddy has advised multiple listed companies on capital raising, M&A, divestments, offtake agreements and related areas.

Paddy is the President of a listed critical minerals company. The mining space is the core area in which he operates but he also advises generally in relation to all industries including biotech and manufacturing

Family Law

We have a reputation for providing the finest family law advice in Australia. Our commercial nous means we adopt a practical and commercial approach when undertaking family law work. Generally our family law clients are significantly high net worth individuals. We have a significant practice acting for companies and trusts who find themselves entwined in family law proceedings. Paddy is accredited as a Family Law Specialist by the Law Society of NSW.

Philanthropy Law

Our team has advised charities, NFP’s and companies involved in Philanthropy and Giving. We negotiate terms, agreements and arrangements for such organisations.
