Peter practices in Criminal Law and is able to assist with all criminal offences in Queensland. In particular, Peter is able to assist with assaults, robbery, burglary, fraud, rape, child exploitation, trafficking, supply, production and possession of dangerous drugs, domestic and family violence matters, breaches of bail and traffic matters.

Peter Penklis completed his Bachelor of laws at the University of New South Wales in 2001 before going on to complete his Graduate Diploma in Legal Professional Practice at St Leonards in the same year. Peter was admitted to practice in 2003 in the Supreme Court of NSW.

Memberships and Qualifications:

• Member of Queensland Law Society;
• Holder of an Unrestricted Queensland Practicing Certificate;
• Holder of a Youth Justice Certificate- Queensland Law Society;
• Holder of a Dual Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs and Mental Health. Employed in a residential rehabilitation service in Brisbane; and
• Eighth Grade Pianoforte and 6th Grade Theory, Australian Music Education Board.

Outside of work, Peter likes performing on the guitar or playing classical piano. Peter also enjoys going to the gym and spending quality time with his wife and son.
