Troy Martin completed a Bachelor of Laws/Diploma of Legal Practice and Bachelor of Commerce from Newcastle University in 2013.

Troy was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2014 and subsequently admitted to the High Court of Australia in 2015.

In the last ten years, Troy has practiced in a variety of legal areas mainly across contractual, commercial, litigation and Family Law. He has appeared in various jurisdictions such as NSW Court of Appeal, Admiralty and Maritime Division of the Federal Court, NSW Supreme Court, Family Court of Appeal, NSW District Court, Federal Circuit Courts, in wide variety of matters including commercial litigation, civil litigation, negligence and equity.

Troy has authored numerous legal articles in various publications with the aim to inform the public about current legal matters affecting the specific industries. He enjoys providing sound, effective and practical legal advice to all his clients to with the aim of providing continued risk minimisation and future success of his clients.

Troy has a strong interest in Contract, Privacy and Cyber Law and in 2023 Troy pursued this interest by completing a Masters of Cyber Security in Security Management and Leadership which was awarded ‘with Excellence’ from the University of New South Wales.

Outside of work Troy enjoys cooking to some music, typically with a Shiraz in hand.
